12th Fail is a Hindi drama film on ibomma which will be released in the year 2023 it is also directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra this movie tells the story of those students who fail in their life and struggle. The title of the movie is ‘Manoj Makes His Mark’ which is based on the life of a small-town boy Manoj who aims for an IAS but he fails a great problem when he fails in his 12th standard. Plot Summary
The major plot revolves around Manoj, a young boy, who is a student studying in Standard VIII in a lower-middle-class family but he dreams of becoming an IAS officer. Manoj gets embarrassed and disappointed when he fails to pass his 12th-grade exams and he never thought of failing grades. Instead, he goes to Delhi to be admitted to a coaching centre to prepare for the UPSC examination. Viigte Villain Vikrant Massey has done a great job in the film, he has shown Manoj rightly, particularly in portraying the transformation of the laid-back helpless man to a strong one. As viewers the emotions and sentiments of suffering and dreaming are well understood when a student is portrayed by the actor. Other like Telugu movies actors also should not be mentioned, and the acting looks rather natural, which adds to the formation of a certain movie atmosphere. All the characters are engaged in the metamorphosis of Manoj and this way the audience is easily able to refer to him or her.
Direction
The kind of direction that Vidhu Vinod Chopra follows is not exactly realism or motivation. He should be very wise not to overdramatise the story which makes it easier for students to appreciate especially when under pressure in school. The emphasis is placed on the concept of striving and not surrendering thus the audience is given an upbeat message for their failures in life. This is the kind of approach that Chopra takes to turn the movie into a failure story but also into a story of spirit.
